My Story
I was born in the mountains of Guatemala with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. Through a series of miraculous events—detailed in my memoir Beautifully Scarred—I share my journey of survival, adoption, and the incredible team of doctors who helped mend my cleft. I invite you to walk with me through both my physical and internal scars, ultimately discovering healing and identity in His scars.
Though I struggled to speak clearly as a child, at just five years old, I felt God’s call to sing and to share with the world that Jesus is real and still performs miracles today. That call has taken me across the globe, spreading a message of hope, healing, and faith.
My prayer is that as you read about my life—my struggles, flaws, and triumphs, the good, the bad, and the beautiful—you’ll be encouraged to embrace your own story. May my journey inspire you to show your scars and find strength, healing, and freedom in vulnerability.
